I was hoping Boone would be a lot better but outside of the passing game they really struggled. Really slow. Poor tackling. Poor pass coverage. Running game was just OK.

 

They do have some individually talented players - just not enough.

 

I did like the passing scheme of Coach G.

 

With that said they will get on the right side of the scoreboard a few times this year. Getting Floyd on the field will help.

CCH now enters the toughest part of their schedule. Dixie, Moeller, Henderson(not sure if they're good or not), Highlands, and BW.

To be fair, i did walk past one of the concession stands at halftime and I saw their cake melting, had to call the game then.

On Boone, much improved over last year, keep on doing what you are doing and good things will happen no question about it.

 

On CCH, I stick with they are not as good as last year. I like how they are coached, I like their fundamentals, and the QB is tough. On the negative, they are a little too finesse and need to improve a lot if they are going to beat Highlands.

 

 

Time will tell but once CCH went to their no huddle they were as high-powered as I remember. Doesn't HHS usually beat you with speed?
