Manny Harper from Trinity is playing JV and doing well at slot receiver, special teams and some DB. Very quick moves and good knowledge of the game. Drew Zaubi (QB) was playing some JV until Larry Harper III came back to start JV. Will be at the Cooper game this Friday and will be fun to see the Schlarman kid play.

Warren East has a kid #2 Reynolds. He is a good running back, but is being worn out because they have no one else. I read he carried the ball 28 out of W.E. 34 offensive plays against FS last week for 188 yards.

While I'm sure there are freshman in the area that could start at Scott at the JV level and get some varsity reps, that doesn't mean that Scott is a bad program. This isn't the Scott that everyone has been grown used to. It's a decent program now. And Nelson is the most instinctive, natural athlete I've seen on the football field in a long time. He needs to add some size, but he is legit.

Belfry's Freshman put a running clock on Johnson Centrals freshman tonight.Both of these teams were state champions last year in middle school.Score was 34-0 with 1:30 to go in the 4th when J.C. finally got on the board.

Milton Wright from CAL 8th grade team will be a beast of a running back. Has won titles at every level and he is the leader. Cannot wait to see how he does at the next level whether its freshman or higher. Freaky good athlete (heard he had a 2 hand slam dunk the other week). Big, strong, fast. He is going to be fun to watch.
