October 23, 201411 yr Sorry guys, but I don't know anyone who says "Love is like a flower". Bette said it.............................and it was AWESOME (and beautiful)........:thumb:
October 28, 201411 yr I can't say that their version is better that Dylan's original (of the 600+ original songs written by Dylan, "Buckets Of Rain" is pretty easily in my top 10), but Redbird does a really really nice cover of it. For what it's worth, Redbird also has a very nice version of "Moonshiner" on the same album. Dylan also covered the song years ago.
October 28, 201411 yr I like Patti Griffin's version of "Stolen Car" a little better than the Boss' original — and the original is very, very good.

October 28, 201411 yr I really like Bobaflex's cover of "Sound of Silence". Also, Conway Twitty did a good version of "The Rose". Perhaps not as good as Bette, but good.
October 28, 201411 yr American Woman I like the Guess Who version, as well as Lenny Kravitz, but I love this video somebody put together for the Krokus version from 1982. :ylsuper: [video=youtube_share;bBM-OHamzzY]
October 29, 201411 yr American Woman I like the Guess Who version, as well as Lenny Kravitz, but I love this video somebody put together for the Krokus version from 1982. :ylsuper: [video=youtube_share;bBM-OHamzzY] I dig this version better than Lenny's. I used to follow Lenny Kravitz a lot years ago and saw him 4 times. The last time was at the Taft Theatre where Sean Lennon was the warmup. I bought my ticket from a dude on the street at regular price but the ticket had $0 on them as they were comp tickets, and were also my favorite seats in the Taft as the were front row center of the balcony with a great bird's eye view. Lenny came out and played about 4 tunes then walked off the stage and cancelled the show. Apparently he was sick or had vocal issues. His last song was coincidentally "It ain't over 'til it's over. It was announced that people could get a refund on their ticket purchase since the headliner had not played a complete show. I couldn't return my ticket because it was a comp ticket with $0 on it, and that didn't count. I got screwed after thinking I had such great seats.

After you read this post, I will "like" your post because then you will understand my intent.:thumb:
