On the money, IMO. There have been 21 shootings in DC in the past 6 days - 5 yesterday alone. I have tried to convince my son that he is not safe living in Washington, but he is still there. I have not seen a breakdown of the race of the shooters or their victims, but it is safe to say that the overwhelming majority of both are non-whites.
August 15, 201412 yr Saw this yesterday. IMO he is grandstading. With that he is 100% correct when he asks why no black leaders have raised a ruckus about Chicago. He is guilty though of making it sound like every protester is alike. The vocal minority in this case are no different than the vocal minority NRA members or vocal minority TEA Party members or vocal minority ACLU. They are not the majority. The majority of protesters in this case are protesting/asking questions for the right reason. They may not like the truth once it's revealed but it doesn't diminish their reasoning. Again, this guy is just looking for publicity.
August 20, 201412 yr Whether the guy has an ulterior motive or not, I agree with him in principle. But my perspective is as white as the sta-puff marshmallow man. Probably not as subjective as my black friends.
August 20, 201412 yr dude has a point. Problem with the race problem in America is a large gap in truth and objectivity. Black folks don't seem to value their economic impact while white folks have a better sense of this. This is historical and still ever-present. We can talk until we all turn green in the face but the fact remains the economic gap between the races in America hurts America. This can be fixed with quality education, however education costs more and more. Marching and protesting is not going to solve a darn thing and this video's creator hits the nail on the head. As far as Ferguson, MO goes... the sides to the story are too far a part to make an objective stand. The autopsy makes it hard to believe the cop's story, IMO. The media is picking and choosing what to cover. i like how they were quick to get the surveillance footage of the shooting victim allegedly stealing cigars but slow to post actual footage of the incident.

Again, this guy is just looking for publicity. Disagree. He's saying what I know a lot of black people are afraid to say publicly. It took a lot of balls for him to say what he said. He'll be ridiculed by blacks and most media outlets. Fox News will be the only one who gives him publicity and then you can kiss his message goodbye.

What in the autopsy makes you doubt the officers version and that of 12 witnesses? No footage of the actual incident is know to exist that I know of, just some video taken after the shooting...but none if the incident.
August 20, 201412 yr This is a very good interview of hi as well: Johnathan Gentry on Fox News - Plus His Video Speech on Missouri - YouTube
August 20, 201412 yr For the record, I had no clue he was on Fox News already. Some things are just predictable. :idunno::lol2:

August 20, 201412 yr You rarely see articulate black conservatives shown anywhere else in the meda besides on the Fox News Channel. To most other media outlets, they just do not exist. That's because there are only 6 of them. Fox has the lockdown on articulate black conservatives. :lol2: Is that dude a conservative? I'm guessing yes. If he isn't he is now. That's my whole point though. I know plenty of black democrats who feel the same way. In order for that dude's message to have credibility and for it to resonate with the proper audience he can't be on Fox News. The only people who will see it is white people and that message isn't for them. It's officially a wasted 6 minutes and any black person who says what he had to say won't be listened to and will be disrespected. And I'm not saying that is what should happen. I'm telling you that is what will happen.

I'm telling you that is what will happen. I don't disagree with you but it is hard to understand. Take Ferguson. What are the chances that any of their elected officials are anything but liberal Democrats? Where has it gotten them so far? Race relations is not the big problem in Ferguson, political ideology is. I predict that the percentage of white voters in Ferguson will dip another 10 percent or more over the next 10 years, the unemployment rate will rise above the national average, the crime rate will climb, and Ferguson will continue to elect liberal Democrats to office. The color of Ferguson's elected officials may change, but their political ideology and the dismal results will continue. People who feel unsafe will leave town as they can afford to leave. Imagine how much blame the media would be placing on the mayor and city council members in Ferguson if they were all Republicans. The looting and rioting is a long term disaster for Ferguson's future and Democrats will promise to "invest" and help rebuild the city until the media's focus on Ferguson shifts to the next made for media disaster.
