This is promising for researchers who hope to one day apply the science to humans. Brain regeneration: Crayfish turn blood into neurons - life - 12 August 2014 - New Scientist
August 13, 201412 yr I was at Knotty Pine last night and they show Crawfish as seasonal only on the menu on Tuesdays. Man are they good. Just wrong time of year. Wireman, where are you getting your goods?

Wireman, where are you getting your goods? I don't know about other Walmart's but Danville Walmart sells them in the frozen seafood section.
August 13, 201412 yr Vegetables, fruits and water suck too. Vegetables do suck, but I disagree on fruit, water and seafood. That is seafood except for crawfish and crabs which really do suck.
August 13, 201412 yr Any fish or seafood is disgusting. As disturbing a post as I've seen in a month of Sundays.

August 13, 201412 yr Any fish or seafood is disgusting. I find that people who say that usually have never had well-sourced, properly-prepared seafood.
August 13, 201412 yr I find that people who say that usually have never had well-sourced, properly-prepared seafood. I want to like seafood but I just really can't get a taste for most of it. As an adult I have developed a taste for shrimp and crab cakes, and I can tolerate fried fish like whatever kind they have at Long John Silvers or Captain D's. But most seafood I just can't seem to enjoy. I thought Salmon was awful, Tilapia I could probably finish but it just taste blah, same for scallops very blah. I've tried eating fresh stuff at locally ran restaurants in Virginia Beach, Siesta Key, South Padre but just couldn't do it. I was in New Orleans a couple months back and the crawfish smelled good boiling in the French Quarter but just couldn't get myself to try any, probably wouldn't like the shrimp there either as it appears that they serve it with the head and legs still attached. My one regreat is that I didn't at least try lobster while I was in Maine a few years back, but it just seems like an awful lot to pay for a meal that you may not like. Wish I could find a type of fish that I liked as I know it would be better for me than beef all the time. I pretty much love eating shrimp, fried, scampi, grilled, doesn't matter but outside that and the occasional crab cake or shrimp stuffed with crap meat that is about as far as it go.
