SK will be fine and definitely deserves a spot in the top 10. They have lots to prove, as usual, but have the talent to do so. Racke may struggle some as a new QB but that huge OL and talented RB will be a strength.

The youth and depth of the secondary is definitely a concern, especially with Mulberry out for the year. They will be severely tested in the scrimmage game as well as against Collins. I think there will be pressure to play Winkler on both sides of the ball.

Oof. They've never been particularly great, but I remember when they moved from the old 4A down to the old 3A in 2002 or 2003... instantly much more competitive.

 

Real shame. They got pummeled last season in the four of the games they played against against Louisville area 6A schools last season. On the other hand, I think only one of the 5A schools they played beat them by more than one score and that was one of the top schools in the class: John Hardin. Despite their record, J-Town was very competitive in their district; that won't be the case with Ballard, Eastern, Seneca, and Trinity.
