I know Andruw Jones hit 2 HR's in Game 1 of the 1996 World Series his rookie year. I believe he was only 19 at the time. I don't think he's still playing though. I could be wrong. So 29 years before that would have been 1967. I have no guess. To be honest I can't tell you who played in that World Series without looking it up.

Willie Wilson was the 2nd player to do this in 1980, in 161 games he had 130 hits batting left-handed & 100 hits batting right-handed.

He caused some controversy in 1979 when, despite having better numbers than either Dave Concepción or Larry Bowa, two of the National League's premier shortstops at the time, he wasn't selected to start at shortstop for the National League All-Star team. He was named to the team as a reserve, but refused to go. In response, he made his now-infamous quote, "If I ain't startin', I ain't departin'!" :lol::lol::lol:

 

 

He also infamously flipped off St Louis fans while a member of the Redbirds. He was sent packing to the Padres after the season.
