August 1, 201412 yr Sigh....Cousins is better than Plumlee, everyone acknowledges that, even Coach K and the rest of the staff. It's a matter of building the roster to suit the style of the international game, which unfortunately for Boogie, puts him at a disadvantage. Would I take Cousins? Absolutely. Would it be some great travesty if they go with Plumlee over him? Nope, not in the least. Disagree. Normally when you take a role player for Team USA they excel at one aspect of the game. Ala shooters rebounders , plumlee is average to below Average in every aspect of the game. Keeping Kyle Korver as a shooter makes sense because he's the best pure shooter in the league. Mason Plumlee excels at nothing and can't help us in the one game that matters Spain.
