March 2, 201511 yr My guess is that Daryl is going to be exiled, and that Rick is going to have to be the one to "enforce" it. He will do it (wink, wink) to preserve the order inside the wall, but will basically be turning Daryl loose to work on the outside. Daryl then gets caught up with the other exiles, who have plans to storm Alexandria, or exact some other sort of revenge on the other group.

March 3, 201511 yr He shows up in the last week as a cliff hanger? I'd be disappointed if this happened again.. Seems like Morgan has been an everlasting cliffhanger all season. They keep showing short clips of him, but he still hasn't appeared significantly in any episodes this season.

It's not until issue 100 when things start to get really interesting IMO. I think the Alexandria storyline is going to be interesting & will revive my interest in the show. It will be fun to watch this group attempt the transition from savagery to civility. In particular, I'm curious to see how Daryl deals with it. I was talking with a friend tonight about Daryl. He's the one character who has evolved the most in the series IMO. But his rough around the edges way actually helps him in a chaotic world. Now that they're in Alexandria, where things are a little more organized and neat, he'll have the toughest time adjusting.

March 3, 201511 yr Author He said they would skip to that issue before season's end. They would really need to hurry things up then, but I am skeptical. I think that will be the focus of Seasons 6 & 7.
March 3, 201511 yr Many think Rick and Daryl will eventually square off. Rick seems as resistant as Daryl to fit in right now. The constable job will help him fit in. If they convert him to a full fledged community boy in just a week or two I don't think it would be believable.
