I think the "Wolves" are a nearby group of people (bad guys) who claim their territory, so to speak, by marking W's on their victims/people who cross them.

In the past, I haven't felt bad about posting spoilers because the show & comic have had the same general storyline and setting, but the specifics have been very different. But lately, some of the TV stuff is ripped straight off the comic book pages.

The TV show is somewhere between issues #71-75 . 1 TV season encompasses about 15 comic book issues.

If it's the Whisperers which I've been commenting on for a few weeks, this show could have a lot of seasons left. It depends on who the leader of the "Wolves" is.
