WE can all have opinions. Natural. My only point to you is that your line of thinking that he went to UK because other bigger schools didn't think he could play there is incorrect. Spurrier got on him early and told him he was the only QB he was going to recruit. He didn't offer any other QB until Drew picked UK.

 

Will he end up starting? Who knows. People whose livelihood depends on picking QBs think he can play.

Dead on Purple. The answer to that used to be UK. Few BCS schools don't have a four/ five star guy among there QB depth chart. UK now has 2 four star guys and have extended offers to a few more in the class of 2015. They will continue to recruit that calibre for both classes. The days of coming to UK to get early playing time are almost completely gone. That will happen for fewer and fewer as the Stoops area progresses.

Possibly, but he hasnt played the position long either. Depends on what offense you want to run.

Not many six foot 175 pound qbs in D1. Good chance he won't be the starting qb for his high school team this year.

Let me tell you why UK is winning and fighting so hard. Because Stoops let's Towles mess up. that's the only way a player can better his team, is to mess up. You can't just keep pulling a guy every game forever. I mean it's okay to try new things but that was one of Joker's problems he would switch Jalen & Matthew Smith too much. Stick with what you got and keep running what you know until they stop it. UK is 4-1 and should honestly be 5-0 we also know this, all behind Towles and the rest of the players doing their job.
