Yea I saw that. Saw where he had thrown for like 1200 yards last year. Impressive.

How will the O-line be this season? If Towles just simply isn't getting the job done, then yeah bench him for Phillips or Barker. But if Towles is running for his life half the time then you might not want to throw a true freshman out there.

Stoops is still recruiting high caliber qb's. IMO Barker does not beat them out, just dont think Barker will be that solid of an SEC QB.

Doesn't the fact that Urban Meyer and Steve Spurrier wanted him give you some cause for pause? I mean, those two are decent when it comes to choosing QB's for their college football team.

What little attention I give to football recruiting, as it relates to UK, is who else offered a certain kid. More often than not, that tells me what I most need to know.

Not really, how many QB's do those guys recruit each year, a few. Yes they don't sign them all but they recruit them. I saw Barker play about 8 times in HS, two times his SR year. Just dont think hes got it to be an SEC QB on a team where he needs to be the main offensive weapon.

I saw Barker play twice. Once was the game against Cov. Cath. were Conner got killed. Barker did not look very good. But to be fair to him, Conner had at least a few kids going both ways and Barker looked about as big as a few of his Offensive linemen.
