You are comparing them to the other NKY class 6A schools. THe original comment was about NKY schools, not Class 6A

Class 6A in NKY has been among the weakest of all NKY teams, so if you are only talking about 6A, then yes you are dominating a bad class.

 

Same could be said of BW or New Cath for that matter. SK has done more with similar talent and numbers.

Why? BW has beaten CCH plenty of times over the years. Why stop a great rivalry? Both schools right down the street of eachother which makes it great.

 

BTW, since when is CCH considered a a school of Men vs boys when they play BW? CCH hasn't won squat in almost 10 years. not like they are a powerhouse of any sort.

2A is one of, if not the most, competitive classes in the state. NewCath is consistently at the top of that class. I'll give you Beechwood's district is not great, but at the top 1A is pretty competitive. And Beechwood is near the top.

Compared to their peers (massive public schools with tons of resources) they are dominating, they are a perennial powerhouse.

What is their record against those actual schools? Winning % for a season doesn't prove much unless all schools play the same schedule against the same teams.

Beechwood as a JV team compared to CovCath? No.

How is it easier for a 1A or 2A school to win a title compared to a 4A school? Aren't schools classified based upon numbers? You are right that NewCath would not win the 4A title, but they are not 4A. They only have to beat the 2A schools because that is how big the are.

You do understand the difference in classes don't you? If not I can explain it to you. It has to do with male enrollment which means the more males you have at your school the higher class. So if you want to compare the numbers that SK or CCH has compared to BW when it comes to football players and you don't think it makes a difference then you really don't understand how the classes work.

That is a stupid question. We are talking 1A school that has beaten the almighty 4A school CCH plenty of times. Not sure what the confusion is here.

I think Beechwood needs to take a hard look at the result of the game this year and next year. If CCH handles them pretty well then yes I believe it is time for Beechwood to move on from playing CCH.

 

And as far as Beechwood beating up on CCH, these are not Mike Yeagle's Tigers.
