The film has 2 plays of Jenson playing defense in spring ball. Two whole plays. One he runs down a ball carrier after a 25 yard gain. The other is a nice interception (play is shown twice from 2 different angles).

 

I agree he looked really good in those 2 defensive plays he has on his 9 minute highlight film.

Venneman (35 rec 890 yds 11 TD's) and Weyer (12 rec 214 yds 3TD's) split time at one receiver spot last year for Highlands. This year they will both be on the field more often.

You forgot to add the interception was against the backup QB in Spring Ball. Wonder why he didn't play any DB last year for a depleted secondary especially during some key games? He rotated at WR so he had to have some gas left for defense. Oh well! Love that UK fan is spending his time watching Highlands spring ball highlights.

Another WR to watch - Logan McDowell at Cov Cath. He is like Burns, not big but very fast.

There were 2 Burns on BW's team last year. They are cousins. Carter was a senior and played in the NKY All Star Game, Jeremy was a Junior.

Every team should be run first if they can do it and win. It is without a doubt the best way to run offense if you can control the ball and score on a high percentage of your possessions. Right? Does anyone disagree with that? If yes, start a thread and I will debate that with you all day.

 

But to answer your question, I expect Beechwood to throw the ball more than they run it.

Is it just me or does he seem like such a better WR than a DB? there were only 3 plays of him playing DB on the video and 1 of them he got burned realy bad when he bit on the play fake. He is a great receiver and I question why they would move him from WR to DB unless Highlands is really hurting at that position.
