July 3, 201412 yr List your favorite Regional concert venues and the good and bad points. 1. US Bank Arena: No bad seats and when the sound is dialed in it can be fantastic. Crowded concourses but Parking and exit no real problems 2. PNC Pavillion at Riverbend: Excellent sight lines. The outside atmosphere without having to worry about rain. Smaller crowds lessen the Riverbend Parking and Exit problem 3. Rupp Arena: At times too massive but if you have decent seats it is not bad. 4. Papa Johns: Depends on the setup and how big the concert is 5. Yum: About the same as Rupp 6. GABP: Not bad for the largeness and the replay board helps. 7. Riverbend: Field turf is a big help as opposed to mud slides but the sight lines are not good and the Parking and exit flat out stink. Have not been to I believe it is the Palace in Louisville or the Horseshoe casino place. And I'm sure I am forgetting a few others.
July 3, 201412 yr GABP was rocking for Beyonce & JayZ. I had a lot of fun working it. The atmosphere was awesome. Really looking forward to see how it goes with Aldean & Florida Georgia Line.
July 3, 201412 yr 1. Lloyd Settles' Farm 2. Headliners 3. Bogart's 4. Waterfront 5. Palace I like Iroquois Amphitheatre. I especially am going to like it if I can make it there Sept. 12 for Drive-By Truckers and North Mississippi All-Stars.

If all these big venues are your idea of a good concert setting, I feel very, very sorry for you. I don't care to see a show at any of these places. Zero intimacy.
July 3, 201412 yr If all these big venues are your idea of a good concert setting, I feel very, very sorry for you. I don't care to see a show at any of these places. Zero intimacy. I've seen people enjoying quite a bit of intimacy during concerts at some of these venues. Sometimes more than I'd like to see haha!
July 3, 201412 yr I've seen people enjoying quite a bit of intimacy during concerts at some of these venues. Sometimes more than I'd like to see haha! Yes, fine, but I mean intimacy with the performer. Should only take a bar tab to bed your S/O, not a wildly-expensive bar tab coupled with a wildly expensive concert. If you pay the money to watch the show, watch the damned show. And that is 1,000,000 times out of 1,000,000 a much more enjoyable experience at a small venue.
July 3, 201412 yr One of the best venues I've been to is Belterra, in Vevay, Indiana. It's large enough to attract some quality shows but still small enough to make it feel more...intimate.
July 3, 201412 yr 1. 20th Century Theater 2. Madison Theater 3. Southgate House now Thompson House (Although I won't go there anymore) 4. Taft Theater 5. Southgate House Revival I really don't care much for big venue concerts, you can't see or really hear the artist.
