I'm completely dumbfounded with this series. The offense room a major step backwards. The starting pitchin may also be getting a little tired considerig the bullpen stinks, and they are having to go later into games. Jockety's number one goal needs to be getting a bullpen arm in the next 3 weeks.

Where would the Reds be without Hamilton,Frazier and Simon?, probably not far from where the Padres are.

These guys just take your heart out and stomp on it. But hey, "there's tennis to be served up and golf to be played."

Very frustrating to watch this team at times. However, since June 18th the Padres have the MLB BEST Team ERA of 1.78. Best by almost a full run. Their problem is their offense is horrible and finished the month of June as the worst in MLB history with a .174 TEAM batting average.

Baseball is a funny game at times. IF, and I know it didn't happen, but IF the Red's get ONE key hit in game one they win and IF Billy makes that catch no runs score and who knows if they end up winning that one or not. So, as bad as it looked they were 2 plays from possibly winning 2 of 3. The Reds had the bloops go their way in SFO and in this series they went the Padres way.

I'm not losing hope until this next 11 games leading up to the All Star break. I think they win 2 of 3 against MKE to get peoples hopes going again.

littleluck ran out of juice. Whose going to start it up for the big series against the Brewers this holiday weekend?

You working Sunday? You always work the upper levels? I don't drink so you wouldn't get any business from me, but would like to meet you. I'll be in Section 110, Row HH, Seats 24 - 22.

Two opinions for me on this series.

One, the Reds lost focus after sweeping the Giants then heading to the worst team in the NL at the end of a long road trip.

Two, that ballpark is the anti-Reds offense ballpark. You can't score there off of power. You have to make contact, put the ball in play and play little ball. The Reds might be the worst team in baseball at that type of offensive play.

Yeah I'm working on Sunday and we always rotate around every game. Usually you're upstairs for a game, then down two, so I have no idea where I'll be Sunday as of right now. But, I will make a mental note and swing by to meet you if I have the opportunity!

I'll give it a go
