June 27, 201412 yr Loved it. Great decision by the NBA. First Payne's story with Princess Lacy, followed by Austin being drafted by the NBA. Nice to have something pull on the heart strings in the draft.
June 28, 201412 yr Heard a report on XM today that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has stated that if Austin finishes his degree that he would personally guarantee him a job with the NBA in some capacity.

December 1, 20169 yr I saw this yesterday on Facebook and was happy for him. I hope a team signs him. It was a nice gesture back then for the NBA to draft him, but happy that he may have a chance to live his dream.
