All 5 of the starting 5 at Pensacola have the chance to be good to really good MLBers.

Yep. While, you can never peg guys as "sure things" in the minors and proven commodities (such as Latos and Cueto) are a safer bet, it does make the possibility of losing one of them a lot easier to bear.

Who are they? Have you seen them pitch, or just basing it on reports and stats?

Stephenson, Lorenzen, Lively, Moscot, and Corcino I believe.

Corcino was a top prospect last year as he entered AAA, but he had an awful season. He was demoted back to AA this year?

I will agree on Phillips, but im not sure another team wants him or who his replacement would be if they did trade him. (Can Votto play second?)

Pitching wise this team wont survive if they dont resign Cueto (and yes I used to bash him hard for being injury prone and mentally deficient, but he has proved alot to me this season) and Latos both. Furthermore with the fact that Cingrani is one more chance away from being a bust IMO, they may not be able to afford to lose Leake either.

P-man ... you are hilarious. Votto play second? Seriously? He can't even play first and there is no throwing involved.

Maybe Cueto should catch

Cueto has a cannon for an arm. Andy Dalton is in the last year of his contract.

Connect the dots.

Basing it on scouts reports. One called the Pensacola rotation the best in the minors.

By the way, Homer is on pace for 15 wins and about 8 losses.

That puts many of you in a quandary based on arguments made about him and his contract.

You lost me when you evaluated him by his wins and loses

What was the common argument against Homer in regards to the big contract?

He stinks

He has a 4.80 ERA 1.4 Whip his WAR is -.3. He contributed more when he doesn't pitch than when he does.

Gotta think outside the box if were gonna be stuck with the 25 million dollar man.
