Reds @ Giants (6/26 - 6/29)

Cueto takes care of business here and the Reds will be "on the smiling side of the scoreboard." Makes me want to vomit.

One thing that has always bugged me about George is calling all the players by their first name' date=' like he has known them all since elementary school.[/quote']

I have Noticed that too...plus, "it's gonna beeeeeee gooone!"

But Thom is awful.

Dusty would let Cueto hit and then pull him after 2 or 3 pitches in the 9th.

How about that. You take a pitcher out when they are done.

Have to give Meso credit. He was a terrible receiver last year and has improved greatly. Always knew he could hit. Dude can play.

The amount of success the Reds have had against Bumgarner continues to amaze me.

Hold on now big fella. You were a "Hanigan handles the staff guy and is invaluable".

Hmmm .... so did Price do the right thing letting Cueto hit then taking him out in the ninth? Or did he do "the Dusty thing"? Or both?

Right. Hence the compliment regarding Meso. He is better all around.

They both did the right thing.

I think Price gave Cueto a longer rope in the 9th than Dusty would have. Cueto worked himself into a bit of a jam. Price gave him a reasonable amount of pitches to work it out.

The Reds have won the first 2 games of the series against the Giants. Nothing can go wrong now.

Kudos to Price for going with my lineup suggestion last night. He's starting to catch on.
