June 18, 201412 yr Say LeBron plays 7 more years, that makes for an 18 year career. He retires and wants to live in his hometown with a solid school system at which time the bulk of their schooling can be spent with his kids without uprooting them. Not saying there is nothing to it, but my guess is this occurs often.

I had a professor who used to teach at the U who moved back to Kentucky. He said he missed it but that he had two young daughters and once they got old enough, he moved back after a friend of his joked to him about what your daughter asks for on her 12th birthday she grows up in Miami. He never told us what it actually was, but it was apparently something that was enough to factor into his moving back home.
June 18, 201412 yr If Lebron was going to Cleveland so was Calipari so I'd say you could scratch them off the list.
June 18, 201412 yr Drives me crazy when people and the media bring up Cleveland. 0 Chance he ends up in Cleveland, 0 Chance it is even considered as an option.
June 18, 201412 yr There are some teams with really good young talent. If I were LBJ, I'd be looking for a pass first PG and a dominant post player. I'd like to see him with Rajon or Wall, NO with Ant or Lakers with Kobe and Julius (just because it would great listening to Kobe's press conferences).
June 19, 201412 yr I think the #1 item on LeBron's list is a team that can win the title next season. And I don't mean they have a chance. I mean a team that would be one of the favorites to win with LeBron on board.

Simmons has been beating that drum lately.
