No backups? Doubtful that the emails are 'gone'. Unless they expect us to believe that there were no backups?

Even if the IRS had only one computer and its hard drive crashed, the emails could be recovered - the FBI and other agencies do that kind of thing all the time. My guess is that whoever "crashed" the computer made sure that the emails could not be recovered.

I bet you can't tell the IRS your computer crashed and you don't have the records they are looking for and get away with it.

Government corruption relies on the motto of 'Plausible deniability'. They are not even trying to go for the 'plausible' part in their lies at this point.

 

This is now the height of arrogance from an administration.

Sadly, the supporters of the Obama administration have moved from denial to the "everybody does it" defense. Every administration does not behave like a criminal enterprise. Nixon's did, Clinton's did, and Obama's does. There were no similar widespread and substantiated instances of criminal behavior during the Kennedy, Johnson, Ford, Carter, or Bush administrations.

 

A real Attorney General would be demanding the appointment of an independent prosecutor to investigate the disappearance of Lois Lerner's email messages. Eric Holder would be perfectly comfortable working as an attorney for the mob or a large drug cartel. The man has no moral foundation. If there has ever been a more corrupt Attorney General who has not resigned in disgrace or been fired, it has not been during my lifetime.

 

Just think about it. Richard Nixon's presidency went down in flames for an erasure of 18-1/2 minutes of a tape recording that he made of his personal meetings in the Oval Office. Nixon and John Mitchell were saints compared to the criminals Obama and Holder, and yet Obama's approval numbers are still hovering around 40%.

 

People get the government that they deserve and Americans obviously do not deserve a good government at this point in our history.
