Look over the past 50 years of problems we have created for our nation with lower values. More poverty, drug problems, children without both parents in the home, the shootings in schools, work places and on the streets of our cities.

What I am pointing out is the lowering of our values. Which has lead us to many problems we have in our society today. And there are fanatics on both ends of the spectrum who are lowering our values. You have pointed out some on one end of the spectrum, as I have pointed out some on the other side. Overpopulation? The world is feeding itself better than it ever has. Even India and China have improved their peoples food situation.

By 2050 the World's population with be 10 Billion. We can't sustain that many people. They have improved their food situation today, with 7 billion people; we can't feed another 50% increase. June 13, 201412 yr Yeah, because being more open-minded and accepting is such an awful thing. I'd argue that the continued close-mindedness and bigotry shown by the religious right towards those that are different than they are, or that which they don't understand is much more culpable for the decay of our society than any other group.
