June 13, 201412 yr Does anyone know the precedent for flying other flags beneath our at embassies? Flag Code, Etiquette and Laws
June 13, 201412 yr I call Shenanigans on everyone saying that it wouldn't bother them if a Christian Flag was flown under the US Flag on a Government Compound overseas and especially not in the USA...Everyone of you would be losing your mind if a Christian Flag was flown in the same manner...admit it. Are there bigger issues to worry about, absolutely...but this would be off the chain if it had been a Christian Flag.

June 13, 201412 yr So separation of Church and State isn't an issue for you? If you're asking if I'm for it, absolutely. 100%. That doesn't mean I'm going to get up in arms if (is there a week dedicated to Christians or other faiths) during a week set aside to bring attention to Christianity or any other religion they decide to fly that flag at a foreign embassy. I just can't bring myself to care. Sorry.
June 13, 201412 yr No wonder all the Muslims hate us, at least they see it as the sin it is. You would think he is one himself. So Obama is gay? Or a Muslim? Or both? A Musbian? A Gayslim?
June 13, 201412 yr So Obama is gay? Or a Muslim? Or both? A Musbian? A Gayslim? Our President is a gay Muslim? When did Clay Travis become President? :lol2:
June 13, 201412 yr Wrong. I disagree. Most won't have an issue if a Christian flag was flying over an embassy for a week. It would be the next week, those same people who were so happy to see a Christian flag fly would be outraged if the next week an Islamic flag flew as well.
June 13, 201412 yr Flag Code, Etiquette and Laws Where does the link discuss the use of flags flown beneath ours at US Embassies?
June 15, 201412 yr Author So Obama is gay? Or a Muslim? Or both? A Musbian? A Gayslim? Not sure what but one thing for sure is he is a flip flop hypocrite. We'll fly the gay flag all week since they are killed and persecuted every day, but fly the Christian flag next week for same reason.
June 15, 201412 yr Not sure what but one thing for sure is he is a flip flop hypocrite. We'll fly the gay flag all week since they are killed and persecuted every day, but fly the Christian flag next week for same reason. Christian flag in a Jewish country, I guess that is a good way to improve relations.
June 15, 201412 yr The American flag represents all Americans, as do our embassies. There is no good reason to fly any other flag beside or under the American flag at any embassy or at any federal agency. The Balkanization of the U.S. by this administration needs to stop.

June 15, 201412 yr This logic also applies to the displaying of the Ten Commandments.I was unaware that any embassies were flying the Ten Commandments under the American flag - but nothing belongs on the embassy flag poles except our flag.
June 15, 201412 yr I was unaware that any embassies were flying the Ten Commandments under the American flag - but nothing belongs on the embassy flag poles except our flag. Don't be that guy. Logic used by you is same for the Commandments debate.
June 15, 201412 yr Don't be that guy. Logic used by you is same for the Commandments debate. Is this thread about the posting of the Ten Commandments in government buildings? No, I don't think that it is. Why don't we stick to the OP and discuss the inappropriateness of flying an LGBT flag above one of our foreign embassies? The Ten Commandments issue has been thoroughly debated elsewhere in other threads. I am not opposed to the separation of church and state but this is not the same issue. I am opposed to serial foreign policy blunders and the flying of this flag typifies the poor judgment exercised by the Obama administration where our embassies and amabassadorships are concerned.
