Campbell County has entire starting line up returning. Four starting pitchers returning (Becker, Eblin, Edwards, and Reynolds). Some key players had early injuries and several guys came up and played well. If they can work a good team chemistry, it should be interesting to watch.

 

Saw them this past weekend play two games at Newport. First one was against Bourbon County and second one against Bellevue. Really like catcher Robert Metz. Middle linebacker on Fri. night then catches two games on Sunday. :thumb:

It will come down to Highlands and Beechwood. Whichever coach can get his team to peak at the right time, and avoid the injury bug, they will win. Beechwood peaked at the All A... which was way too early. Highlands looked lackluster many of the times I watched them but by the end of the year they just started believing in themselves. Beechwood had a better team. Timing matters.

Cov Cath should be solid with a better defense. Langguth at shortstop, Pangallo in center, and Piccirrillo in the outfield too. Good hitting team with Heppler, Bailey, and Galvin. Robert Young and Brian Haughey will be great for pitching. The only question is about the man behind the plate.
