June 5, 201412 yr Playing at the high school level at a small school is possible for a girl who has good football talent, but I have seen the type of athletes at the NAIA level, and I think this could be a real safety issue. Yes these players are not as big as the DI level, but they still hit extremely hard and with the speed of the impact I don't know if many girl players can take many hits without sustaining injury. Not being sexist and I wish her the best, but don't know if she has the muscle/ body make up to absorb the hard hits without getting injuried.
