I have the following site bookmarked: Top 15 sources for news. Similar top 15s available for specific areas: financial news, science news, sports, etc. It's important to be a well-informed citizen.

Top 15 Most Popular News Sites | June 2014

That list pretty much hits my main online sources - CNN and Yahoo. Of course, BGP is a source for local news. The Cincinnati Enquirer is my main news source.

For local news, I also still subscribe to the paper version of the Cincinnati/Kentucky Enquirer, and I hit rcnky.com a couple times a day. River City News often has local stories online well ahead of the Enquirer. BGP is good for breaking news alerts. A solid site for breaking science stories is redorbit.com. A very good (free) site for personal finance is seekingalpha.com. Good state stories found at kyforward.com.

I'm sure. I bet no one is making up stories or tellling lies out there. :lol2:

Actually I wouldn't know. I don't belong to a shooting range.
