May 30, 201412 yr Can't talk about Hillary's successes so they have to talk about Bush. Please tell us who Hilary 2016 is running against and we can contrast and compare. I get whatever name you put up doesn't have her pedigree. Success is relative when it comes to elections.
May 30, 201412 yr I am very indifferent concerning Hillary. If a Republican stayed a moderate through the campaign, I might consider it, but they don't, they move really too far to the right for me. I really like McCain for the most part and would have supported him, but then Sarah Palin, moving to the right too much and well there was just no way. If Hillary runs, and I swear I have no idea why she would want to, she will most likely win.

I'm not convinced any other dem could win POTUS in 2016.
May 30, 201412 yr Can't talk about Hillary's successes so they have to talk about Bush. Not at all, but when one attempts to claim that "our enemies - including Islamic extremists; and the Russian and Chinese government thrived on her watch." It's simply not true, as some seen to have a short memory of when all of these other events happened, and trying to paint a picture that all was fine before Hillary became Sec of State.

It's simply not true, as some seen to have a short memory of when all of these other events happened, and trying to paint a picture that all was fine before Hillary became Sec of State. What I said is absolutely true and I only listed three enemies who have grown stronger of the watch of Hillary and Obama but I could have added Iran and North Korea as well. Please feel free to list all of Hillary's great accomplishments as a U.S. Senator and as our Secretary of State. A title and time served do not count as accomplishments. If you want to include her accomplishments while employed at Rose Law, include all of those accomplishments as well. Hillary is good at managing a cover-up. If that is your idea of a necessary skill for the White House, then she is the right candidate at the right time. For me, two Bushes and a Clinton has left me wanting a president who does not feel that it's simply his or her turn to be president. If Jeb Bush runs, then I will vote for a third party candidate. If Hillary Clinton runs, it will be for Obama's third term - not her husband's. She lacks Bill's competence and personal charm - and I personally never saw Bill as charming except when compared to his bitter half.
May 30, 201412 yr I keep reading that Republicans are afraid of Hillary winning the Democratic nomination, but I honestly feel that her winning may be the Republicans best chance to win back the White House.
May 30, 201412 yr When it is "Bush supporters" bashing Hilary we have to stop and go........"really?" Again, Bush is not running.
May 30, 201412 yr Please tell us who Hilary 2016 is running against and we can contrast and compare. I get whatever name you put up doesn't have her pedigree. Success is relative when it comes to elections. so where are these Hillary successes? We have no idea who she's running against so there is no conversation there yet. Pedigree is also relative when it comes to elections.
May 30, 201412 yr so where are these Hillary successes? We have no idea who she's running against so there is no conversation there yet. Pedigree is also relative when it comes to elections. Couldn't tell you. Just like I couldn't tell you the successes of any of the other possible people running against her.
May 30, 201412 yr Again, Bush is not running. Jeb Bush may run. My point is that both have their share of success and failures. Whose failures are worse than the other is always up for debate. Neither set of supporters has any ground to stand on when it comes to success and failure.
May 30, 201412 yr Author Jeb Bush may run. My point is that both have their share of success and failures. Whose failures are worse than the other is always up for debate. Neither set of supporters has any ground to stand on when it comes to success and failure. I agree there are failures on both sides. But when looking at a Presidential Election should we not look at each persons merit or lack of and not just their force of personality? Just as Hillary should not be blamed for actions of this President or her husband and should stand on her own, a GOP candidate should be judged on their merit or lack of merit and not what previous administrations have done.

Neither set of supporters has any ground to stand on when it comes to success and failure. Jeb Bush is probably the best candidate for the Republicans to win the oval office, but may be too moderate to get his party's nomination. A Clinton vs. Bush election would be interesting.
May 30, 201412 yr Couldn't tell you. Just like I couldn't tell you the successes of any of the other possible people running against her. So, to put words in your mouth you have no answer to "why Hillary?" I agree.
May 31, 201412 yr Jeb Bush is probably the best candidate for the Republicans to win the oval office, but may be too moderate to get his party's nomination. A Clinton vs. Bush election would be interesting. Putting Jeb Bush on the ticket would severely depress Republican turnout. Under no circumstances will I vote for Jeb and many conservatives feel the same as I do. Reince Priebus, Karl Rove, McConnell, Boehner and the other "establishment" Republicans are working hard to ensure that another moderate loser is nominated but I do not believe that conservatives are going to turn out in large numbers to elect a RINO.

I honestly couldn't tell you what people should look at when it comes to voting for anything in any office. Everyone's reasoning is different and I'm not one of those people who condemns others for their reasons of voting for a person if their reasons don't meet my standards.
