We might as well start a discussion on the presumptive Democratic Nominee for President.

-Why would she make a good President

-Why would she not make a good President

I'm shocked! A woman democrat for Hillary. Stop the presses!

Really none of the Liberal Democratic Stalwarts on BGP have stepped up to tell us "Why Hillary?"

She is a sly OLD dog. Not everyone can just get away with murder like she did.

She is also a tough OLD dog, not every woman would stand by her man after he committed adultery and tried to lie about it.

She also lacks a conscience, she will do anything to anyone no matter what to get her goal, whether it's murder, lies, deceit, or being two faced. She is the master.

She will be 69 if she were elected. Only one person has been elected for a first term at that age or older.

For what? So the rest of BGP can tell us why not? Pass on that.

If it's Hillary vs. Rick Perry, then I will vote for the one who's not a secessionist.

Nah, that's not what I meant...but your right it would probably go that way.

But during the last couple of Elections most of what we heard on here was why McCain/Romney shouldn't be President not as much about why President Obama should be.

I honestly wanted to know "WHY Hillary" other than the big (D) next to her name.

We can debate the issues on these threads in a fact-based manner, or we can play inside baseball with arcane "gotchas."
Where is the debate on issues or Hillary's merits...all I'm seeing is a weak Gotcha aimed at Perry?

At the end of the day that's all you'll get on here. Unless the republicans can roll out a likable candidate I'll likely vote for Hillary. I've always liked her.

I could be wrong but I don't think they could roll out anyone you'd vote for over her...:lol2:

Chris Christie and Gary Johnson would likely get my vote. Colin Powell. I'm intrigued by Ben Carson but he would have to get my dad's seal of approval first. Jeb Bush would have a chance as well. Any pro-marijuana republican would easily win my vote and support as well.

I'm interested to see if any dems will put up a fight for the spot or if they will just concede it to Hillary.

Fair enough...but if you vote for Jeb Bush I want to come watch :lol2:

I've always been a fan of the Bush family. I like political dynasties. :D
