I'm completely with you HT. We had open gym last night so I didn't get to watch the lottery. When I looked at my timeline, I couldn't believe how many people were saying the lottery was rigged because Cleveland got it again. I didn't understand that mindset.

 

Sure if the Lakers got the number one pick, I'd be more inclined to understand, but overall, why would the NBA care about small market team like Cleveland who just wasted one last year.

The reason people are saying that because they think it's a way to lure LeBron back to Cleveland and get Cleveland formidable enough to where they can be a threat to the Heat and the NBA can have another storyline. FWIW, I don't think it's rigged but people think there is a conspiracy with everything.

I guess, but I just don't see it. And if LeBron goes back to Cleveland (I don't think he would) then the Heat will be completely irrelevant. I'll go as far to say that they wouldn't even make the playoffs.

 

I'd be more inclined to believe in the conspiracy if the Lakers or Celtics won.

With the lottery, if it isn't rigged, they sure leave themselves open to speculation by not releasing more info... What #'s each team has, televising the # balls popping up as if it were a real 'lottery'.... etc.

I think it would be great if it was a like a 7 digit number and they popped up the numbers one by one from L to R.... You can imagine the suspense that would build with each ball being drawn until only the last ball is left to be drawn and two teams are left?
