Pat White not into Corvettes

Featured Replies

That just means he took one to go to WVU... Come on Pat, you ain't fooling me.

I believe it college football is a very dirty business. You live under a rock if you don't believe/know that.

I'd say he's telling the truth. He should have also posted what WVU gave him too, though.

Bama never offered.

I was wondering about this... Makes sense that he would try to throw them under the bus.

They talked to him but he was not interested because they would not recruit him as a QB.

Lead recruiter said he never even made a visit to Alabama either...

I'd love to have drinks with Trent Richardson. It's not only Bama, it's almost every relevant program.

I'm not saying schools/boosters don't do stuff they shouldn't, but why doesn't it get out more if it is so prevalent in Big Time Football. When was the last time a player came out after the fact with proof they were given a car or other large item. Players get recruited, don't get playing time they expected, get mad and leave school every year...why aren't they rolling over on the school/coach that they are upset with.

Most of them still need a gig after football. A lot of them spend all their NFL money in 5 years. They don't wanna burn all their contacts.

First the majority of them are NEVER playing in the NFL...

You'd think there would be some come out and just throw it out there. How many contacts do they have with a school/coach that they think did them wrong...I'm players get stuff but I don't think it's as bad as many say and no where near SMU Pony Express levels.

Per Rivals he was the 55th ranked athlete in his class. A 3 star prospect, not even ranked as a QB. I'm not saying this didn't happen but the studs Alabama has to pick from why would you offer a 3 star guy a $60,000 corvette when you could probably get him for a $20,000 Altima.

Pat White took a serious blow to the head and can no longer play football. Just saying.......
