Plus with him falling further down the draft than he probably thought. He probably will be a little extra motivated to prove doubters wrong. The bengals are wanting to be basically like bama with pounding the ball and then play action. So he obviously can do that and dont have to worry about him not being able to handle the pressure of big games. So I think this could turn into a great pick!

Interesting to me that everyone likes the pick when he strikes me as another Andy Dalton, who so many people seem down on.

Im down on dalton because I dont know if he has played one single good game against a very good team or a team with a top ten defense. Idk if he gets to hyped up for the games or what be his accuracy even on short passes is bad against those types of teams. While I think we can assume that mccaron will at least handle the bigger game type atmosphere better since he has played in two title games and sec schampionship games. So even if mccaron ends up not being good. It could light a fire under andy and help get him over the hump.
