Did any team challenge the Ville this weekend? Ky Gators have a bright future if they can keep the team intact. Next years 17 & U Elite 8 should be very exciting. Great weekend of basketball.

Nothern KY Bulldogs played to a 2 point game with final margin happening with about 3 secs left in the game. That game was a possession by possession game with both team making mistakes at this end as the game could have went either way.

The WKY Elite game, The Ville was down by 6 to start the 4th quarter. Those guys was some great shooters but The Ville matched their shooting with great shooting as well. Johnson had 6 3s that game, along with Levitch and Dalton making some shots as well. The play of the game was by Hall who had a ESPN top 10 dunk on a kid who tried to take a charge (video should be available at some point). Very nasty....

Against Hoop Dreams and Retros, The Ville guys just played great as a team on offense and defense. So many weapons you have to try and stop but it all starts with team ball...

Who is the guard with the tattoo (possibly scripture?) on his upper arm?

Also was very impressed by the other big kid who played out top a lot. What is his name? Possibly from Trinity.

Brandon Johnson (Jeffersontown High). The scripture is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Also other person you note is Jax Levitch (Trinity), he plays mainly as guard but is tall and long.

No, I know Jax. I'm talking about the tall white kid besides Hall and Parker. Looked to be about 6'6" or so.

Hall, Parker, Levitich & Dalton (not tall) are the only white kids. Provide a number I can provide a name.

I see the mistake. I had Levitch's name mixed up with another kid. It's Jax Levitch that I'm talking about. I'm very impressed by how he plays.

Is there a place where I can find the rosters and high schools of the 17u's? TheVille, both Hoops Dreams, Retros, WKY Elite, Prospects, NKY Bulldogs.

There were some very nice players that I thought I knew who they were but was not sure. Also, as mentioned in an earlier thread the officiating was very sketchy in some of the games I watched. Not so much as it determined the outcome but I was worried about the kids safety.

Roster for TheVille:

Jax Levtich (Trinity) - #0

Michael Stafford (Trinity) - #11

Brandon Johnson (J-Town) - #23

Evan Hall (Knott County Central) - #24

Simon Christon(Knott Country Central) -

Will Parker (Louisville Male) - #22

Dieon Cochran (Collins) - # 4

Kiefer Dalton (Clinton Cty) #3

I have not seen a Retros roster, although most are from Louisville area.

Louisville Prospects: Louisville Prospects Foundation

Sure other rosters are listed somewhere online here. WKY Elite has some talent, they sure can light it up from the 3.

NKY Bulldogs 17U:

3 Austin Schreck- Dixie Heights

5 Hayden Smith- East Jessamine

12 John Liechty- Cooper

15 DeOndre Jackson- Campbell County

23 Mitch Bolin- Dixie Heights (was not present at state)

25 Matt Mullins- Simon Kenton

32 Andrew Hedger- Dixie Heights

33 Hines Jones- Scott County

34 Brenden Stanley- Boone County

35 Sean Ross- Pulaski County

Great group of young men. As The Ville pointed out in an earlier post of The Ville 2015, it all starts with team work with these guys, too. No "me" ball, and they trust each other. Typically a different high scorer in every game, and the same with rebounds, steals, assissts, and 50/50 balls.

As previously stated... really liked Parkers game. Very familiar with Levitch (shooter, iq, has improved getting to the basket) and Hall (jumps out of the gym, solid footwork, rebound-hound). Was less familiar with Dalton, but was impressed by his speed and low center of gravity, which allows him to get underneath the opponet on his way to the basket, or on the defensive end.

I didn't get the uniform numbers but did get the coach and players name / school of 17 & U Western Kentucky Elite:

Nick Tinsley - Silver Creek (Sellersburg, Indiana)

Jake Sikes - Allen County

Dillon Geralds - Monroe County

Skyler Geralds - Monroe County

Dyllan Harper - Allen County

Tucker Sine - Bowling Green

Kobe Caldwell - Warren Central

Connor Hall - Jackson County (Tennessee)

Austin Cummins - Anderson County

Head Coach - Rico Rosado

These rosters are very helpful. Lots of video coming soon
