LHL had Barker with two TD drives, but somebody told me he had 3, which was more than the other two QB's who both had two. Is that correct?

He's a freaking SR in high school! Early enrolled or not 6 months ago he was playing against kids, and now is adjusting to grown men in the SEC. My God, are you that clueless? Judging by thinking Miles Simpson shoulda been starting since day 1 shows you know very little about college football. Go start another thread about how SK can beat any team in the country.

Had I not watched the scrimmage and if I were one to just look at stats I would agree.

 

Drew was the only QB who threw the ball downfield more than once. I don't think Phillips threw one downfield pass. PT only threw one that I recall.

 

Drew threw at least 4 balls that were 30+ yards. On two of them he and the receiver were not on the same page. One was definitely on Drew based on his reaction. The other could have been on either. His 50-yard fly to Snodgrass was overthrown by a few steps. The 4th was a perfect TD pass.

 

He didn't do as well as he had hoped and he said that afterwards. Morons who expect a kid who has been on campus since January to come out and kill it got what morons usually get - it wrong.

 

Drew was fine. Lots of work to do. PT has the lead going into summer camp. I'm thrilled for PT . He admittedly dogged it his first two years ie he was "complacent." He saw that he had one last chance and worked his big rear end off to put him in a chance to compete for the job. UK can win with PT. By August they can win with Drew as well.

 

One kid had 35,000 sets of eyeballs on him yesterday. He did a "solid" job.

 

Did any of the QBs besides Drew lead a TD drive against the 1s? PT may have. Not sure. That's a solid start.

Why you don't just admit your personal dislike for him is beyond me. You get on to UK fans for "hyping" Barker then blasting when he doesn't perform in a spring game but yet you've been "hyping" Miles Simpson since day 1 and you blast anyone who tries to bring facts into that equation.

Your personal vendetta against Barker is well documented on BGP. You do a lot of good for SK by promoting players from SK and giving SK pub when they may not have any. You have provided good insight many times on here but at the same time you have brought a lot of heat on yourself for many things you have said. I get it, for everything you have heard about Barker you expect him to be on campus for 4 months and shine like a star. Truthfully, I know you are more reasonable than to expect that. If you were really a UK fan like your name suggests you should hope he lives up to the hype instead of always looking for a reason to question his ability. Let it go......

It's a little early in his career to anoint him as the next big thing, and obviously waaaaay too early to start knocking his credentials.:stop:
