Everyone starts as an assistant somewhere, I have friends who coached with Saban at Toledo. Or was the UL job only for a former head coaching spot only?

Not a single one has a BCS win. They don't give assistant coaches credit for wins.

No university hiring a new coach will attribute the previous schools win totals to any assistant it may be hiring. When ESPN talks about how poorly (or how well) a team is doing, do they talk about the Head Coach or the assistants? As to the bolded, again, I nor anybody else said anything like that...

Being the Defensive Coordinator, yes, I'd say he had a lot to do with the defense. What is your point? Very few people (nobody on this board that I recall) were calling for Bedford to take the HC job...

Charlie Strong was also an assistant before coming to UL to win a BCS game. None of the assistants I named weren't possible though because they were assistants....

You gave a list of potential candidates. Then tried to say their resumes were better than Petrino's, because they had won more BCS games. You were wrong, as none of them have won games as an HC, and now you are trying to convince people that we attribute wins and losses to coordinators...

Did a little researching on the internet, and I found that UK's average attendance is a little over 59,000 in a stadium that holds over 67,000. PJCS holds only 55,000 and the average attendance is a little over 52,000, therefore, UofL's attendance to capacity ratio is higher.

 

Which means nothing. Maybe UL should take out a few seats and then they could lead the nation in in attendance to capacity ratio.
