Well done. I hate Laimbeer and Isaiah even more now. Got no use for a guy that played just to hurt people. Go to football if that's how you want to handle yourself. Laimbeer was always a piece of garbage, and he didn't have to be. He's one of the most talented shooting big men of the last 30 years. He was fine going hard and fouling hard. It's the intentional crap, i.e. sliding the foot under Parrish or going for the head and not the ball, that makes me irate. Without him and Isaiah being a two-faced toad, I'd have loved that team. I really liked Chuck Daly.

That is definitely who he is talking about, I hear that all the time. Crazy to think he used to be on Miami's practice squad and they got rid of him, I bet they wish they could re-do that decision.

 

On a related note, it is crazy how soft the NBA is today in comparisons to back then. Those highlights were a great reminder of that.

Never liked Isiah, thus never liked the Bad Boys. Dumars and Rodman were the only two I liked on that team.

 

In fact my feelings for Zeke are much like PP's for D-Wade...I "Hated" him as a player.

Hated Laimbeer. If not for a set shot and his dirty play he would never have lasted long in the league. Detroit was just dirty and it overshadowed how great Thomas and Dumars were IMO.

They got into it again this year. His defense is what I'm talking about. He's extremely physical for today's game. He does not back down. Put him in a playoff setting, he'll get someone to the point of wanting to punch him....then he'll stick his chin out to dare them. I like him, personally.

It's amazing to see guys throwing down with no ejections. I never like Detroit but they had one hell of a lineup. They are one of my favorites on NBA 2K.

He used to ball on UK back in his Arkansas days. It's tough to see him without the long dreads but I'm glad he has found his niche in the league, I always thought he had talent.
