rjs4470
Doesn't logic dictate that it'd be in the northern part of Kentucky? Yes...but there are no major cities or points of interest that anyone not from around here would know about. When people think of Ky, they think Louisville or Lexington. A lot of geographically challenged people don't even realize that Cincinnati is just across the river from KY. Or that the Greater Cincinnati Airport is in Kentucky. I really can't say I was all that aware of the significance of this area before I moved here.
woodsrider
I call poop to the NKY thing. Can't tell you how many times I've heard NKY folks explain when out of the region that they are from the Cincinnati area. They even gave their airport to Cincinnati. Buckeyes in sheeps clothing. rjs4470
It's the one George Washington crossed in a boat one night. You couldn't do it in George's day, but now there is a canal (which is basically the dividing point between what is considered Northern and Lower Delaware) where you can cross the state in a couple of hours. It's only about 15 miles wide
hoops5
Not only do I never say that, I have and will continue to scold Mr. lawildcat if he tries to tell people that we are from Cincinnati. That's just blasphemy!
