April 7, 201412 yr After spending last season with the Kannapolis Intimidators in single A, Zach has been promoted to single A Advanced (high A). He is now with the Winston Salem Dash. He is being used as a reliever and has had 1 appearance going 2 innings of scoreless baseball.

He got 2 out before the inning was extended twice by 2 errors. Gives up 0 earned runs and gets the loss and blown save. Then in the middle of the night, while on the team bus he got a call that his grandfather had died.

May 4, 201511 yr Hopefully closing leads to fast success. At age 24 in A ball, he needs to make something happen fast and move up the ranks. Best wishes that this season is a big step forward for him.

Best wishes that this season is a big step forward for him. I'm hearing he believed this was his make or break year going into the season. Sounds like he's doing well so hopefully this propels him up the ladder.
