Thanks to CCH in moving to the GCL, the FTJFL 8th grade teams have now picked up 5 open games to play to fill out the Northern Kentucky Middle School league's schedule.

I am surprised the NKMS teams are allowed to play "club" teams. That was a big reason for keeping teams from Union away.

This player mentioned is a good football player that has always been slightly bigger than his classmates in youth football. While he has not grown much since, he is still a good football player who will be a part of the CCH football program, but to label him a stud is overkill.

Guys - let's not get so worked up about "potential" studs for Frosh football.

If last years back and forth about CCH's class and Ryle's ongoing promise of great things to come, isn't evidence enough that it really doesn't matter, then you aren't paying attention.

Kids who were un-athletic looking beanpoles as Frosh become physical specimens as Juniors if they dedicate themselves- and that's what it's all about. The converse can be said for early bloomers who are less dedicated. They look about the same as they did when they were Freshmen.

They have some good numbers coming, so keeping these kids in the program, having fun playing the game while learning fundamentals is the most important thing at this stage.
