When I saw the bracket I expected T to win it all. The margin in this one surprises me, though. I thought it would be more like 73-56.

Was Trinity boring today?

Tra Edwards makes the All-Tournament team from Hopkinsville.

Was Trinity boring today?

Don't bait my man Randy like that! Only I can bait my man Randy like that!

Was Trinity boring today?

No and yes. If that makes sense. Once they get up 10-14 points then the game is over. Fun watching them get there. Boring watching them end the game because they are so well coached and play so smart. Used to seeing teams hoist up dumb shots when they have the lead and Trinity doesn't do that. They play the game the right way and that makes it boring and predictable. And that is a high compliment. :D

Guess that answers the question about an instate team beating Hoptown.

Like I said in the update thread, I was pretty skeptical about the comparisons to Ballard, especially as regards their pressure defense. I didn't see much in the way of a really tough pressure defense today; certainly not one to the level of the Bruins.

Maybe Trinity just caught them on the right day -- I don't know -- but I think a lot of the Hoptown supporters may have gotten a bit of a false positive from what was a relatively easy schedule.

Everything he said.

Trinity looked better today than they did Wednesday. That's not good for everyone else.

When the Rocks get a big lead in the fourth, they start running that four-corners look-alike and Szabo makes certain the game stays boring.

And the Hoptown hype train is over.
