Exactly how many points are you supposed to score in a 32-minute high school game in order to keep the game from being boring? Trnity scored 59 against Ballard in the 7th Region final and I assure you that was far from a boring game. I tried to Google the exact number but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know the exact number?

Offensively I didn't see much from Spaulding, although he didn't get many chances. Holman missed all of his 5 shots...I think 3 open type jumpers and 2 gimmes underneath after he drove by Spaulding. Other than that he sat on the bench all day because of foul trouble. Trinity had great help D, especially on Miller, who was doubled and tripled...with Holman on the bench the options were limited. Trinity is the smarter and better team.

Boring for me - I was echoing Les' comment. The first quarter had no excitement and after that Trinity went up 10-15 the entire game. No runs really after that...no breakaway dunks. Trinity slowed it down to which you can't blame them, they were up all game....boring game to watch.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say T faithful would rather win a boring game than lose an exciting one. In the second half T coach was already coaching for the next game.

T would have won it no matter how it was played. They showed great desire - didn't see it at all in the OHS players. T was after every rebound and they got most loose balls. Well rounded team, loved the Owens guy. I didn't think Holman's effort was there. He is a much better player than what he showed, although the fouls had alot to do with that. OHS should be back next year. Good luck to T the rest of the way.

I don't think OHS had a single senior in their rotation, so I am thinking they are back next year BIG TIME.

They have 2 seniors...curry and kelly...I think Kelly hit a couple 3's in the 2nd half. All of OHS guards are lightning fast though, was impressed how well T handled that full-court pressure. All juniors start though. Miller is listed at 6-6 285...there is no freakin way, that kid has to be 300, but his offensive skill set is great.

Same with Trinity. They lose 2 seniors---Ivory and Owens. Everyone else returns.

Wasn't a flashlight. Cellphone and as someone else said Trinity's staff shut it down quickly.

It happened twice and the Trinity staff stopped it. I thought it was sort of genius. Cell phones do not put out that much light. Less distracting than waving arms. Otherwise all the cheers were positive in support of their team. Shady,,,,ok.

Depends on what we mean by "shady". A couple kids did something dumb. The administrators put a stop to it. Doesn't sound shady to me.
