Dad kills teen in daughters bedroom

Featured Replies

Using deadly force against someone who wasn't harming anyone and as it turns out was invited in. This could have been worked out with a few more sentences, I sense the guy was pretty upset finding the kid in the room and gave him the ending every guy with a daughter says he will.

And what if this guy had been an intruder, and a couple more sentences results in the death of he and his daughter. I just find it hard to believe he killed him for having sex with his daughter.

He wasn't an intruder. He was invited in. I just find it hard to believe some think it is OK that this guy went shoot and kill on the teenage boy pulling his pants up after getting caught... :idunno:

Like GT said he was NOT an intruder and I doubt he ever got the chance to say it. To use Deadly force is very risky and a last resort, this kid is dead, gone and probably never got to explain himself, apologize, or beg for mercy.

I haven't followed the story closely but it doesn't sound like his parents have the means, capability, to really go after this guy who killed their son.

I will defend my children by death if necessary. That being said, I don't think you can just run in and start shooting. I would have to feel that her life was in danger to actually take a life. After considering everything in this situation, it's hard for me to assume he felt his daughter's life was in danger.

Spot on. Deadly force is a last option, anyone who's ever been through a CCW or basic handgun class knows this. Should also be common sense but some people are trigger happy.
