I counted Bach with 43 points from the update thread, but not sure if that is official.

Brent Bach leads with 43 points and 10 rebounds.

Connor Maddox with 17 and Camryn Snapp 11.

 

Dawson Cooper leads Robertson County with 24. Darren Edwards with 12 and Tyler Burns 10.

Bach. Wow again.

Bach 6-10 from 3 and Maddox 5-10 from 3.

Guys, it was 37-34 Robertson Co. I called it Bach time in the update thread. He outscores the whole Robertson Co. team 29-25 the rest of the way. That doesn't include any assists either. Augusta outscores Robertson 41-25 to end the game Bach is the real deal.

Great game! Bach was Bach and it showed. He lifted the team up yet again and got them back on track after a lack luster first half. Also another great game for Maddox. He is clearly Augusta's #2 option on offense and that helps Bach get his opportunities. If you don't get out on him(Maddox) he will make teams pay for it.

 

They will now prepare for tournament favorite Montgomery Co. I'm sure coach Hinson will have a game plan. The panthers lost their only meeting this season at MoCo 89-59. I'm betting this one will be a better game. Bach will need to muster up another Herculaneum effort and Maddox will also need his A game.

 

This team is on quite a roll and who knows what the future will bring Monday night. :thumb:

Monday night will be the biggest crowd of the tournament and probably one of the biggest ever in The Fieldhouse, I would presume. Campbell,Harrison,Augusta and Montgomery all travel well

I'd say probally about what they were expecting. Robertson Co. Is a good little team and they left it all on the floor. Dawson Copper will be a very nice player to watch next season. In the predictions poll I said it would probally be close at half but the panthers pull away in the second half and win by 10 to 15 pts.

Bach is good and very fun to watch.

 

Augusta's defense was not very good in the first half, and Robertson Co did a good job to take advantage. It was a very fun half of basketball to watch.

Robertson County has nothing to hang their heads about. They have a nice team and stayed with Augusta most of the way. Had a couple chances to get it to 7 or 8 with 3 or 4 minutes to play but never could really string 2 or 3 buckets together down the stretch.

 

Bach was as advertised - a pedestrian half backed up with a spectacular second. Maddox has a nice stroke from the baseline and was a key contributor tonight. Should be interesting to see A-Town's strategy against a MoCo squad that on paper has the Panthers outmanned at every position save one.

Bach is turning into a 10th region legend. 40 games don't happen often and he's done it twice in three games.
