However imagine if there was a real emergency with people who actually needed services that were the difference between life and death. But no, they were off dealing with the idiots that pulled this stunt.

I thought it was funny. Impressive to pull something like that off. Security is going to have a real fun meeting soon.

 

I heard from a P&G employee that they came in on helicopter. Only security upgrade would be patrolling the rooftops.

 

I also spoke to an engineer that's dealt with over 150 companies in Cincinnati, and he said P&G is by far the most environmentally conscious company he's ever dealt with. However, they way the building sit, they were an easy target.

Local news is reporting that they most likely came in the building and went up. Apparently had a helicopter to film it. It kinda sounds like no-one knows how they did it.

Just logged on and bought 5 more shares of PG.

The goal of any protesters is to get attention to their cause and they did that. And they also did it in a peaceful way which typically isn't the case these days.

 

As for P&G's security, it leaves a bit to be desired. In the article they compare P&G to Fort Knox which I found laughable. I spent time at Fort Knox and the security was unbelievable. I had difficulties getting back into the base as a soldier after my Christmas leave, so I can only imagine what civilians go through when trying to enter the base.

 

I've also been to P&G's twin towers when I worked for a downtown law firm. My job was to deliver mail to different law firms or clients downtown and P&G happened to be one of those clients. One day I had some mail for P&G so I went to the front desk in one of the towers. Instead of taking the mail from me and delivering it themselves like they should have, I found myself walking the halls of P&G alone looking for the mail recipient. Finally I found the office I was looking for (after about 15 minutes of aimlessly wandering the building) and it happened to belong to the president of P&G. I don't know who was more shocked at the fact I was standing in his office with his mail, him or me.

 

To compare P&G's security to that of Fort Knox is a complete joke.

When they came to our building, they were dressed as caterers, the banners had been dropped off on the roof overnight via helicopter. The lady dressed in blue tights, blond wig, driving a pink bobcat, was stopped 2 blocks away.

Not sure what's "peaceful" about breaking and entering, trespassing, destroying property, etc.....If I'm P&G, I pursue every charge to the fullest extent of the law. I'm all for peaceful protests, but it crosses the line into vandalism when you enter a building under false pretenses, trespass, break locks, and destroy property. That's just criminal behavior.

I just appreciate the creativity and that they were able to pull it off. With saying that, I hope P&G prosecutes them to the fullest extent.
