I can't wait to see how this affects the rest of us who work downtown at other companies. I'm a meanie. I don't hold doors for people that are not wearing their badge. I may give a break to someone on my floor who I see every day. I know for a fact that others are WAY more lax than me about who they let in.

Gonna be like trying to get into the Peck Federal Building around PG for a while. Peck is a fortress, and should be.

Perhaps but it would appear they should have been at that security level anyway.

 

And you wonder why your Ivory soap costs so much?

I work in the Federal Reserve Bank building at 4th & Main. I need a badge to get in, have to go through a metal detector as well as have my possessions go through a security screening to get in. After that, I have to waive my badge and go through a roundabout door that can trap me inside if I need to be stopped. I have federal police officers that carry guns and will use them. Bring it, Greenpeace!

Actually I think it's pretty reasonable.

 

My guess is they will not need to use too much in additional resources, just tighten up procedures and make sure they're followed.

The zipliners were indicted today and face 2 felonies. They are facing up to 9 years in prison and $20k in fines.
