I admire your passion HC, that's what makes your school special...I mean that. BTW, time will tell relative to all of your thoughts....and for what it's worth, Maile led the JV team scoring average and missed overall most points by 4 while playing 110 minutes less than the top five as he broke his hand mid season....

Great stat. That should end arguments aboue Maile being for real on JV.

Chris Bondick, Michael Grimes, and, ok there's two, here's a CCH freshman in Luke Maile. Once again I can only hope you are exaggerating with the "best 3 point shooter in the region."

I have seen all of these players this year and while Bondick, Maile, and Grimes are good, they are not as good as Sorrell. Cory can flat out shoot the ball and as soon as he gets a little weight on him, he will be a outstanding all around player for HC the next two years.

Well with as good as Sorrell and the rest of the Indians are I just hope that my Colonels can keep this one close & give themselves an opportunity to win when all is said and done.

If we want to talk about 3 point shooter how about i throw out my boy Chris Roll. I know he is not gettin Varsity minutes and im not going to argue about him not gettin minutes nor will he if u ask him (great kid), but the kid can flat out shoot the 3 ball. Dont believe me? Ask Bishop Brossart when the boy went 4 for 4. One of these he was on a break away and pulled up for 3. Kid can shoot the ball. I almost had him in PIG one time too (my claim to fame).

Sorrell is good, but take a look at everything from another point of view HC. Hes a good player but is he what CovCath needs? the Answer to that question is no. He knew that and this is why i believe he went to HC. Just like Michael Romes, i wish the kid the best of luck and hope he becomes an amazing talent, but dont go makin outrageous claims or puttin other players and schools down.

LOL come on, don't take one extreme HC poster and think that most HC people don't know that CCH is the favorite.

The young man needs to make sure he doesn't become one-dimensional as other young phenoms touted on here have. Right now, he's limited in ball handling and foot speed and defense. Nice shooter. If he works on his all-around game, he'll be a matchup problem should he continue to grow.

No one is saying that... There was a comment about Sorrell being the Colonels loss and the Indians gain, and like always the CCH faithful had to act like Corey wasn't good enough to play for CCH anyways just like Romes wasn't good enough.

Dunno but defensively I think Sorrel is one of HC's best on ball defenders. He deceptively quick. He has a nice vertical leap, and a middle game that most HS schoolers don't posses. If this kid grows he can be scary good.

With all that said , you trying to get in the game tomorrow?

I'm not so sure that CCH is the favorite, actually. Sure, they're ranked ahead of them but HC is very close behind. Everyone keeps talking about how great HC is playing and they're on their home court.

I know HC loves to play the "us against the world" card though. I guess that's why they do it every year.

Its so true though :jump:

Considering the fact that CovCath won the first meeting wouldn't that make them the favorite?

Wrongo, chief. He would help CCH a bit next year and definitely his SR year.

No one here has ever said Romes wasn't good enough to help CCH.

Yes, CCH is the favorite.

I'm already in line.

It wasn't said on here but I've heard this opinion from several people at CCH.
