Connor Maddox leads Augusta with 26. Bach 21 & Snapp 13.

Austin Crawford leads all scorers with 28. Jacob Hamilton adds 11.

Congrats to Coach Hinson and the Panthers!!!

Well-balanced scoring attack by Augusta. Crawford is always nails for the Polar Bears.

Great shooting from Maddox was the difference.

Very well officiated game.

How many times has A-town won the district?

How many times has A-town won the district?

8 times I believe. 1926, 1928, 1936, 1964, 1977, 1982, 2013, 2014.

Couldn't disagree more. Seemed like down the stretch every time Bracken was getting momentum and clawing back the refs had other plans. Cheap fouls and no calls on the other end. Austin Crawford was goin to cut the lead to 5 with 2 min to play and refs called a charge. Ray Charles could have seen that was a blocking foul. Maybe it's just the homer in me but this game was a screw job by the refs. They were consistent though terrible all three nights.

Heard a portion of the Augusta webcast, they disagree with your assessment in the opposite direction. :loll: And as a neutral observer at Mason/Augusta I thought the officiating was solid that night.

They called bad fouls both ways no denying that just seemed our bad call were at key moments in the third and fourth. When we were playing catch up. Will say that Tuesday was Bachs night but tonight Maddox stole some of his spotlight. He beat us this night. Not Bach.

Come on RP Austin Crawford got a dunk.

PB98, you have a lot of good things to say on here. I just hate that you have went the complaining about officiating route. St.Patrick fans were mad Monday, Mason County Tuesday and now Bracken County. All 3 games were great in their own way and the best teams won on that given night, that's all anyone has to say. I wish we could move on from every thread turning into complaining about officiating every single tournament game

Your absolutely right. Sometimes I wear my pride on my sleeve and let my thoughts get the better of me. I apologize to all the BGPers on here for my rant. Sometimes my homer way cloud my judgement. Can't say it won't happen again but please bring my back to my sanity if it does :D

I didn't think it was a well officiated game, but I don't think it was awful either. It had little bearing regardless. The better team won tonight.

Connor Maddox was the story of the night with his perimeter shooting. He got hot & that's really important for Augusta as they move on to the Regionals. Bach didn't score like he normally does, but it was evident that he was looking to get others involved. And I thought Camryn Snapp did some nice things, even though he fouled out in the 4th quarter.

Austin Crawford played really well. He's so gifted at getting to the basket & at utilizing his off hand in doing so. Jacob Hamilton also had a nice game. The Polar Bears have those two kids for three more years, but they certainly don't play like freshmen. It was good to see Scott Fite get some time tonight. He grabbed a few boards & got a basket or two. Hopefully he'll be able to play a little more in the Region next week. Steven Cummins also played some good D. He was on Bach most of the night.

Outstanding crowd tonight & another memorable 39th District Tournament is in the books.
