Augusta 71 Bracken County 60 (39th District Finals)

He is.

He's got some good genes. Older brother Grant was a solid player in basketball (maybe baseball too) & graduated last year. Older sister Jaclyn started for 2 or 3 years on the Lady Bears team & also did very well in softball.

His Dad & at least one uncle are/were good athletes.

Depending on how he performs in their regional game next week. He should be score his 1000 point in the season opner next season. If not the opener the second game for sure. They would have to go deep in the region to reach that milestone this season as a freshman. If he keeps on his current average of 23.52 ppg then he will be close to being the all time leading scorer at Bracken Co. as a Sophmore. Currently sits at 925 points I think. All this is of course he stays healthy.

Kid has a bright future. I believe he will be what Brent Bach is/was at Augusta. Kind of a passing of the torch. Bach is on his way to capping off a tremendous career this season and Crawfords has just begun. With the core group of freshman we currently have along with some good upperclassmen it's going to be fun in Polar Bear country for the next few years. :thumb:

I really enjoyed watching the frosh play! He is already a stud!

Any word on the final attendance last night? had to be at least several hundred more than Tuesday Night.
