First Time at a Casino This Weekend

I was in Gatlinburg and ended up in Cherokee, NC this weekend. As luck would have it, we stumbled upon the casino and couldn't resist checking things out.

 

I managed to win $521 on a $1 slot machine. I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever been and figured we could tell some stories and discuss.

First time at a dog track in Daytona I hit a 3 dog $12 box of some sort and won around $500, my father in law said we'll never you out of here now...I said bull, I'm ready to leave now, let's go to Outback I'm buying!!!

This past Saturday at the new casino in Cincinnati my wife and I went for a burger (Bobby Flay's), afterwards she won $290 on a blackjack table and I won $20 on a slot machine. Burgers $55. Not bad you say, well last time we did this burger run, well it cost me $400. I must say I felt like a million bucks walking out ahead of the nights gaming.

 

FYI the casino was packed, I will never understand how that many people can gamble that much money. Smallest table was $25 per hand.

I have lost much more than I have won. However, I was iced in while visting The Choctaw Tribal Schools in Mississippi last month. I was staying at the casino there. My wife was really concerned. I don't gamble much, but when I do, well, it never ends well. I won quite a bit after 4 days. I swear only time I have ever come out significantly ahead. Usually, I come out significantly behind.

 

I love playing the table games, not much on slots, but won at those, also.

 

They still owe me a lot though.
