February 20, 201412 yr The thought going through my mind is perhaps toxic fumes of some sort in a lower level of the freighter? If it wasn't foul play then that would be my line of thought as well. Could've been an air pressure issue or something where a non lethal gas or chemical at regulated temps became unregulated and no one knew until it was too late. I'd think there would be a more detailed press release by or over the weekend.

February 21, 201412 yr Seems weird to me I thought most of the boating industry has pretty stiff drug testing policies.
February 21, 201412 yr Certainly strange. When it comes to drugs it can and does effect people in many different walks of life. Almost wonder if they got a hot dose of something if that is in fact the cause of death. Said either way.
February 21, 201412 yr Seems weird to me I thought most of the boating industry has pretty stiff drug testing policies. With the two deceased being part of the Trident Group they maybe been tested or screened different than the rest of the crew. If that's the case and it was in fact an over dose I would expect some changes to be made in the near future.
February 21, 201412 yr Drugs Found Where 2 Died on 'Captain Phillips' Ship - Overdose suspected in deaths of ex-SEALs Government cover-up? No way, our Government doesnt do that stuff. We are a legit law abiding and caring country who has nothing to hide. Edited February 22, 201412 yr by True blue (and gold) fixed quote tags
