Randy Parker Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Final from Alexandria. Royals led this 20-5 at one point in the 1st quarter. Henry & Shawn Johnson combined for 17 1st quarter points & had about 7 points the rest of the way. Burns & Trentman dominated the Mason County big men. I think Burns had 25 & Trentman 18, but I'm not sure.
Randy Parker Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Mason was up 2 at the half, but Rieger hit consecutive 3's to give Brossart a lead it would not relinquish.
Randy Parker Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Burns- 25 Trentman- 18 Rieger- 7 Hackworth- 7 Shannon- 4 Kramer- 4 Geiman- 2 Henry- 15 Sh. Johnson- 11 Williams- 9 Frame- 9 Greenhill- 8 O'Mara- 8
Randy Parker Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 ^ Heck of a win. Jennings is supposed to start practicing tomorrow too.
two bad teams Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Good win. Don't fall asleep on the Stangs in the 10th. They have enough nice to make game vs Moco down the road interesting.
BirdBrain Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Final from BBHS. Good ole fashion 10th Region mash up
mcpapa Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Good win for BB. I had this one at 62-57 Brossart, not too terribly far off.
Mattitude Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 If BB gets Jennings back, this could get interesting. Montgomery gave everyone some hope tonight.
bigblueinsanity Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Not really a shocker with BB winning at home. I'll take Mason County win it matters in March.
Mattitude Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Not really a shocker with BB winning at home. I'll take Mason County win it matters in March. Even if BB gets Jennings back? I am not so sure home court will matter that much if he is playing. Heck of a win for BB. Their best win of the year I think.
Lawnboy13 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Great win for the 'Stangs, Burns and Trentman are a load. :thumb:
Mustang Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Great win for our seniors. It wasn't as much that we won, but how we won. Mustangs left flatfooted at the gate, fall behind 20-5 in the opening minutes, then out of Mike Code's second time out, go on a 15-0 run to tie it up. Trentman and Burns were consistently good all night. Tretman gets 18 while Burns was "possessed" scoring 25. The Mustangs come out shooting in the third quarter and get four key 3-pointers from Rieger (2), Hackoworth, and Trentman, then outslug the Royals down the stretch, hitting some key shots, knocking down big free-throws, and grabbing crucial rebounds to secure the Senior Night victory. The Mustangs improve to 21-3, the Royals fall to 19-6, and Mike Code moves to within one win of hitting his 200 wins milestone. The Mustangs take on Scott in Taylor Mill on Thursday.
gold sunrise Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Great win for BB. Looks like the BB bigs dominated the Royals. Huge night for Burns. What was the scoring for the Royals?
